The Slovenian Parliament, the modernist building from 1959, is presented with three different essays: by an acrhitect Nika Grabar, a historian Kaja Širok and an art-historian Martina Vovk in the book Parlament. Tri zgodbe: arhitektura, umetnost, spomin.
The experts present their contemporary research from the sociopolitical aspect, Vinko Glanz’s architectural creation, Slavko Pengov’s wallpaintings, Zdenko Kalin’s and Karel Putrih’s portal sculptures.
The texts and images are carefully organized and treated with special attention to typographic details. The pages are laid out in a way to compose a serious volume nevertheles that is a hard-cover book of pocket-size.
