structures for sustainable mobility

The archeological exhibition Tü mo. Slavic settlement of Prekmurje was designed for mobility. The main goal was a high level of adaptability for many different exhibition spaces in Slovenian museums, therefore modular beech plywood panels were developed as basic elements.

Single piece panels are attached to each other with two vertical hinges. It’s enough to join only a couple of panels to stand alone. Showcases for pottery artefacts follow the same modular principle.

The accompanying catalogue and the information graphics are highly readable. The warm colour scheme of all visual elements and clear lineart illustrations create a pleasant atmosphere for the visitors.

The exhibition setting in the atrium at the National Museum of Slovenia in November 2012 is shown below.
